Our Adventurers Sunday school class spent a Wednesday afternoon down in Denver at the Food Bank of the Rockies putting together 300 boxes of food to be distributed to senior citizens in need. We packed 9000 pounds of food and provided 7200 meals. We made a couple of new friends who volunteered with us and we did our best to live out our Sunday school book Take This Bread, by Sara Miles.

Please contact Tricia Grafelman if you would like to join them on their next trip to the Food Bank. The need for food is higher than ever before and the volunteer base is very low due to COVID. We were in a large warehouse and social distancing was easy.
