This Friday the Boulder County Health Dept. will be ending the mask mandate for indoor services. The number of cases from the Omicron variant is decreasing, but the 7-day positivity rates are still above 4%. However, Boulder County reports that 95% of people 65 years and over have been fully vaccinated. This is very encouraging. We are going to do a slow movement towards returning to normal worship services.

Beginning Sunday, February 20, masks will be optional. They are still recommended, especially for older persons and those with health concerns.

Hymnals and Bibles will return to the pew racks.

By the first Sunday in March we will be passing the offering plates down pews. We also hope to reinstate Coffee Hour following worship. You will be asked to bring your own coffee mug.

We realize not everyone may feel ready for these changes to occur. Please take whatever precautions you feel are necessary. We will always offer the opportunity to worship on-line through our YouTube channel.

I want to say how proud I am of all of you as we have traveled nearly two years on this pandemic journey. The conditions may change and we may need to re-institute new safety measures. Thanks to our Trustees and our Re-Open team for their guidance throughout this health crisis.

Blessings!
Pastor David
