Join us Sunday, May 17, after the service 11:15 AM for a talk and Q&A with The Reverend David Clements on "Psalm 10:1 - Why, O LORD, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?"

The Rev David Clements has been and Irish Methodist minister for almost 40 years.  Some of that time has been spent in parts of Northern Ireland that have been particularly badly affected by the 30+ years of bloody civil conflict euphemistically known as the Troubles.  In these places he has been involved in local community work, peace-building and in particular supporting victims of the Troubles.  His own personal experience has provided context and depth to this work.  In December 1985 his father, Bill Clements, a serving police officer, was murdered by the IRA at the police station in the village where the family lived and grew up.

David is married to Niccy and they have four children.  Sarah, the eldest is most famously, at least in Longmont, the mother of Piper and Teddy!
