Santa’s Workshop is almost here! This is the largest event we put on at the Heart of Longmont each year. 5 years ago, we piloted a program where the children of the Wild Plum headstart program come to the church to pick out gifts for their family members. This is NOT the parents choosing gifts for their children! The children choose gifts for their parents, siblings, grandparents, cousins or Aunts and Uncles.

It’s a festive, chaotic day of joy and we are inviting you to be a part of it! There are many ways you can contribute.

  • You can bring new or gently used gifts (toys, games, Dad’s gifts, Mom’s gifts, teenage gifts, balls, Lego sets, candles, bags, etc.) to the church starting on November 29
  • You can sign up to wrap presents
  • You can sign up to be a personal shopper
  • You can sign up to bring cookies and serve hot chocolate
  • You can help set up Santa’s workstation in Wesley Hall anytime December 2 to December 5
  • You can help clean up after the event
  • You can be a Spanish translator. We need many!

This is an all hands on deck kind of event and you won’t want to miss being a part of it.  So many families thank us and tell us Christmas just wouldn’t happen without this offering.

December is coming—and we will be ready! We will have camels in the courtyard, Santa in the chapel, hot chocolate and cookies as well as Heart of Longmont shining at its best!
