Storytelling holds tremendous power. Norma Johnson, a Black woman and gifted poet, uses her words to give voice to her experience. Amanda Cherry, a white middle school language arts teacher, helps others find and share their own stories. Together, they bring an impactful message about the importance of storytelling and the courage it takes to speak truth.

Norma reminds us, “If you don’t tell your story, someone else will—and that is the power of your own voice.” Norma and Amanda don’t just talk about racism; they call us to action; to tell the stories that have been silenced, ignored, or misunderstood.

On January 25th, you’ll have a unique opportunity to experience this transformative conversation. Amanda and Norma will invite us to listen deeply, confront the stories we too often overlook, and open ourselves to perspectives beyond our own. We’ll leave not only inspired, but also charged with the responsibility to amplify voices that need to be heard. Through partnership across differences, we can build understanding and create lasting social change—one story at a time.
