God has blessed us to be a blessing to others. Deuteronomy 16:17 says:

“Every one shall give as they are able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God has given you.”

Being generous is a mark of Christian Discipleship. We worship a God of abundance. At the Heart of Longmont there are many ways to be generous. Be generous of your time. Spend time with others, especially those who may be different than you. Be generous with your talents or abilities. Teach a class, help a child, offer to drive someone to their doctor’s appointment or share your musical gifts in worship. Be generous with your money. You may not physically be able to do all you would like to do, but through your contributions you can truly make a difference in someone’s life.

Thank you for your generosity! God bless you!

Heart of Longmont’s funding programs are easy ways to financially contribute to our church at no cost to you. Building simple new habits when you shop or when you dispose of unneeded items can provide ministry through the Heart of Longmont.

Online Giving

Donate By Shopping at King Soopers

King Soopers offers you the option to make charitable donations through your shopper’s card through their Community Rewards program. For instructions on setting up Heart of Longmont on your shopper’s card to donate as you shop, click here to go to the King Sooper’s Community Rewards program page.

Safeway Gift Cards

Purchase $10 gift cards at church and reload them in the store at the checkout or service desk. Every time you reload your card, the store donates 5% to Heart of Longmont. You can use these gift cards for all of your purchases including groceries, prescriptions and gas. Cards are available in the church office during the week and at the hospitality desk on Sundays. You can use cash, check or credit card to purchase and reload your grocery gift cards.

Vehicles for Charity

Denver-based Vehicles for Charity is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping other nonprofits meet their fundraising goals. Through our partnership you can donate used vehicles including automobiles, trucks, vans, recreational vehicles, motorcycles, dirt bikes, tractors, boats and trailers. VFC will sell the vehicle at auction, or to a salvage company, depending on condition, and 80% of the profits will be returned to the church. When you donate, your vehicle will be towed at no cost to you, and you will be provided with a tax-deduction receipt. To donate a vehicle, click here for more information or to start the process.
