Tim Rakow, executive director of The Inn Between, reports that as of the end of December $1.76 million has been received towards the project. The monies are a combination of two large grants and individual donors.

The Inn Between has also completed a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment. Since those results did not reveal any issues a Phase II should not be required.

HOL has initiated the survey required to transfer and deed the land to The Inn Between. The survey is expected to be completed in March.

Wesley Home team members have also completed and submitted a grant to the Longmont Community Foundation for help in covering expenses to create the new Wild Plum Outdoor Learning Center.

We will also be partnering with The Inn Between for another grant through the Lutheran Church.

To date over $30,000 has been received from donors, both members and non-members, to help with the expenses.

We continue to make progress even though it isn’t readily visible. If you have any questions please contact one of the following team members: Rod Edmonds, Joan Edmonds, Jean Malchow, Clint Schahrer or Tricia Grafelman.
